MTV beckons, now that teams of students will have the opportunity to work on commercial music videos.

The Head of the Music department Alan Fisher is co-ordinating the arrangements with Matej Dimlich and with Katie Thiebaud from Faculty Music Media.

FMM are producing 12 Music videos this year for The Beggars Banquet group which incorporates XL Recordings, Rough Trade Records, Mantra Records, Mo'Wax Records, Locked On Records, Matador Records, Too Pure Records and Wiiija. XL Recordings subsidiary boasts dance artists such as The Prodigy, Lemon Jelly, Basement Jaxx.

And the project will be the first outing for WestVideo, the new branch of Photography's WestPhoto agency."
